Businesses operating in the North West’s thriving energy sector can learn more about export opportunities during a special event later this month.

UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) has energy specialists in markets around the globe, and is offering businesses the chance to quiz them here at home as part of its Energy Roadshow nationwide tour.

Members of the UKTI energy teams in the following 27 markets will be taking part:
Algeria; Angola; Australia; Brazil; Canada; Chile; China; Ethiopia; India; Iraq; Kazakhstan; Libya; Malaysia; Mexico; Nigeria; Norway; Pakistan; Peru; Russia; Saudi Arabia; South Africa; Thailand; Turkey; UAE; USA; Venezuela; Vietnam.

Peter Gawne Cain, International Trade Adviser for UKTI, said:

“It’s rare to get so many energy specialists from across the globe in the same place at the same time, and any business operating in this sector would be well advised to come to the Roadshow, meet them on a one-to-one basis, and hear what they have to say. These kinds of events can lead to great opportunities and exciting business deals.”

TIME:  09.00 to 14.30
DATE:  Wednesday, 16 September, 2009
VENUE: Reebok Stadium, Bolton, Greater Manchester

The Energy Roadshow is open to UK based companies and is offered free of charge, so demand is expected to be high and meetings will be booked on a first come basis.
