Utilitri Ltd, a Wigan-based solar photovoltaics (PV) firm, has created three new positions in its workforce, following free sales and marketing support from the Business Growth Hub's Green Growth service.
Utilitri’s renewable energy solutions are designed to enhance the value of its clients’ properties, as well as reduce their energy bills and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
The company holds a number of industry accreditations and has already built up a large portfolio of customers through its experienced team, which includes specialist roofing contractors, electrical engineers and customer care staff.
To help identify and tackle new barriers to growth, Utilitri invited Green Growth's low carbon sector team to carry out an on-site business review in August 2014.
The advisers specialise in supporting Greater Manchester companies that are either in, or looking to diversify into, the low carbon and environmental goods and services (LCEGS) sector.
Following the review, Utilitri also benefited from ongoing, one-to-one support from its dedicated Green Growth advisor.
This included sharing market intelligence to help the company identify new sales leads, and help with developing Utilitri’s growth strategy and implementing recommendations.
As a result of the support, three jobs have been created in Utilitri’s workforce, with potential for more as the company continues to develop its sales strategy and generate new sales leads.
