Sustainability certification body Plane tMark has embarked on a national tour of events ahead of the COP26 climate summit in November and will arrive in Greater Manchester on 8 October.

Planet Mark’s Zero Carbon Tour is an eight-month tour of the nation in an 100 per cent electric ‘Carbon Battle Bus’, celebrating the wide array of actions businesses are taking across the country to address the climate crisis.

The tour will visit Greater Manchester on 8 October at a half-day event hosted by Greater Manchester Combined Authority at RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford.

At the event - which will also be streamed online for those unable to visit in person - local organisations will discuss why the net zero agenda is critical for businesses and share the impactful measures they are taking to reduce their emissions.

The initiative will also be promoting the UN’s Race to Zero and UK’s #TogetherForOurPlanet campaigns which businesses can get involved in ahead of COP26 in November.
