A new Government booklet for UK businesses presents the case for becoming part a of the new low carbon economy, including the savings and opportunities available for businesses of all sizes.
 
‘Can you afford not to? Business Success in the Low Carbon Economy’ includes several case studies of companies which have made significant savings which making steps towards becoming more resource and energy efficient.
 
The booklet highlights the advantages of small but effective resource efficiency measures and the ‘quick wins’ which can be achieved, as well as grasping new market opportunities and engaging staff , customers and suppliers in the change process.
 
It also includes details and case studies on managing the risks posed by climate change, rising fuel prices and scarce resources, and offers advice on the first steps to acting on your business’s CO2.
